A book you thought you wouldn’t like but ended up loving?
This was a hard question. There are so many books out there and I don’t think I’ll have the time to read them all so I rarely read a book that I don’t think I’ll like.
So, as I’ve done before when I can’t come up with an answer, I am going to go way back to childhood. I picked up a western by Louis Lamour, The Ferguson Rifle, at a garage sale for a dime. I ended up loving it and went on to read his sizable oeuvre before attaining adulthood.
