Our newest supreme court justice has ruled against this interpretation regarding numchucks in New York. This is one where philosophically i agree but practically i'm less concerned about it and aren't likely to get active about it. i do like to take the focus off guns which i like even less but what about bazookas or other armaments you would need to defend yourself from a modern state? that seems as protected as well. perhaps the state should unilaterally disarm and save us the trouble of an arms race.

Not satisfied with having allegedly raped and murdered a young girl in 1990, Glenn Beck is now on a mission to rape and murder the First Amendment.

Well, Mr. Green, this post isn't really negative, it is more factual. I don't really rip on Savage. Still you toss out the 1st Amendment. Why? There are no constitutional guarantees of 1st Amendment commercial speech. Savage's radio show is a money maker, that is not the speech that the 1st amendment was made to protect. No, it was made to protect comments like this blog.
Why don't you sit down and read the constitution after listening to Savage tonight...
I don't watch MSNBC or listen to the so-called progressive radio, I oppose fundamentalism of all sorts. Fundies are problematic, whether they are the Weiner or Islamists, or anything else. Have a great day Mr. Green.

I don't know what you have against Michael Savage. We still have free speech in this country. If you don't like him or his program, don't listen. He must have something going for himself, he has the third largest talk radio program, in the country, with 8 to 10 million listeners each week.
If you don't like Rock Star Energy Drinks, don't buy them.
Rock Star is a very successful Company.
I read most of Michael Savage's books and like what he has to say.
Just keep watching MSNBC and listening to progressive talk radio as all our freedoms go down the drain.
If you have something you disagree with Dr. Savage about, be a man and call him. I did that with progressive Bill Press.

great post john. i remember it a little different, i remember you standing there tall and brave telling the joel orenstein looking hot shot preacher that you asked jesus into your heart and you didn't feel nothing and him moving on cowed if not subdued. atheism is a poor substitute for philosophy. i don't see a lot of love of knowledge in it but some weird new fundamentalism that leaves me cold.
